The 2026 World Cup Organizing Committee unveiled this Saturday the complete fixture list for Group C, where the Moroccan national team will compete alongside Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti. The announcement also detailed the dates and stadiums that will host the “Atlas Lions” throughout this global football event.
Morocco will kick off its campaign on June 13, at 6:00 p.m. local time (11:00 p.m. Morocco time), against Brazil, at the New York – New Jersey Stadium, in one of the most anticipated clashes of the group stage given the prestige and level of both teams.
For their second match, the Atlas Lions will face Scotland on June 19, also at 6:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. Morocco time), at the Boston Stadium, in a game that could prove decisive in the race for qualification, considering the balance within the group and the importance of every point.
Morocco will conclude the group stage on June 24, again at 6:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. Morocco time), against Haiti, at the Atlanta Stadium, in a match that could be crucial in determining qualification spots depending on the outcomes of the previous two fixtures.
This participation comes amid high expectations from Moroccan fans, following the historic run at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where the national team reached the semi-finals and finished fourth — a first for an Arab and African nation. Supporters hope to see the Atlas Lions reaffirm their global standing and compete once again with the world’s elite in the 2026 edition.
The 2026 World Cup, co-hosted for the first time by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, featuring 48 teams divided into 12 groups. The top two teams of each group, along with the eight best third-placed teams, will advance to the Round of 32.
