His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to the members of the Moroccan U20 national football team following their historic victory at the U20 World Cup (Chile 2025 edition).
The King stated:“We have followed with immense joy and deep pride your heroic journey, crowned by your well-deserved and historic triumph at the U20 World Cup (Chile 2025). It gives Us great pleasure and pride to extend to you Our warmest congratulations on this unprecedented global achievement in the history of Moroccan football.”
He added:“We salute this outstanding performance, the result of your confidence, unwavering belief in your abilities, and your collective spirit and discipline. Throughout the tournament, you displayed exceptional professionalism, honoring your country and representing Morocco and the African continent with great distinction.”
The message continued:“By delighting the Moroccan people, you have demonstrated that our beloved Nation is full of talented young people capable of meeting challenges and achieving greatness.”
The King also expressed:“On this glorious occasion, We warmly commend the efforts of all members of the national team — coaches, players, technical, medical, and administrative staff, as well as the officials of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation — for their patriotism and commitment to ensuring Moroccan football remains at the top of global excellence.”
