Morocco were crowned FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 champions after a thrilling 3–2 victory over Jordan, in the final played at Lusail Stadium, following extra time.
The Atlas Lions made a perfect start, opening the scoring early through Oussama Tannane in the 4th minute. Jordan responded after the break, with Ali Olwan equalizing in the 48th minute before converting a penalty in the 68th minute to put his side ahead.
Morocco refused to give up and found a crucial equalizer late in regulation time, as Abderrazak Hamdallah scored in the 88th minute, sending the match into extra time.
In the second period of extra time, Hamdallah struck again in the 100th minute, completing his brace and sealing a dramatic victory that handed Morocco a well-deserved Arab Cup title after an intense and entertaining final.
This triumph crowns Morocco’s impressive tournament run, highlighting their mental strength and ability to rise to the occasion in decisive matches, to the delight of their supporters.
