Jordan claimed a well-deserved 3–1 victory over Kuwait in their Group C clash at the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025, in a match played early on Saturday, 6 December 2025, at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Al-Rayyan.
Jordan opened the scoring in the 17th minute through Mohannd Abutaha, before Saed Alrosan doubled the lead shortly after halftime in the 49th minute. The “Nashama” sealed the win with a stoppage-time penalty converted by Ali Olwan in the 90+7 minute.
Kuwait’s only goal came in the 84th minute, scored by Yousef Al-Sulaiman, reducing the deficit but not changing the course of the match.
Jordan dominated the game with higher offensive intensity and better organization across the pitch, while Kuwait struggled to build momentum and contain Jordan’s rapid attacking transitions.
With this win, Jordan strengthens its chances of advancing to the next round, while Kuwait now faces a difficult path, needing a must-win performance in its final group match to keep qualification hopes alive.
