The strong Group Stage clash between Egypt and Kuwait ended in a 1–1 draw this Tuesday, as part of Matchday 5 of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025. The exciting encounter took place at Lusail Stadium and kept fans on edge from start to finish.
The match was marked by intense competition, with Kuwait opening the scoring in the 64th minute after a well-organised attacking play finished with a precise shot. Egypt managed to level the score late in the game, converting a penalty in the 88th minute to bring the match to a 1–1 conclusion.
The drama continued into the final moments, as the referee issued a red card to a Kuwaiti player in the 83rd minute. Despite enjoying a numerical advantage and exerting heavy pressure during more than eight minutes of added time, Egypt was unable to find a winning goal.
