The United Nations Security Council will hold a decisive session on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. (Morocco time) to vote on the draft resolution concerning the Moroccan Sahara, according to the Council’s official agenda.
The meeting is expected to lead to the adoption of a resolution supporting Morocco’s Autonomy Initiative, recognized as the most realistic, pragmatic, and lasting solution to end the regional dispute over the Sahara.
