Paris Saint-Germain produced a stunning performance in Germany, defeating Bayer Leverkusen with a resounding 7–2 victory on Tuesday in the third round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
The Parisians took control early, with Willian Pacho opening the scoring in the 7th minute, followed by a brace from Désiré Doué (41’, 45’+3). Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (44’) and Nuno Mendes (50’) added to the tally before Ousmane Dembélé (66’) and Vitinha (90’) completed the rout.
For the German side, Aleix García scored twice (38’ penalty, 54’), but Robert Andrich’s red card in the 33rd minute left Leverkusen struggling to keep up with PSG’s attacking power.
